Dial-A-Micron
On Farm Midside Testing
RWT is currently trialing testing midsides on farm.
The system is capable of sub-sampling (coring), washing, drying, and testing
over 800 sheep per day using accredited equipment capable of producing
results within + or - 0.1 of a micron. The system involves taking a sample,
testing and having a result in real time to make better decisions with
the animal in front of you. This service is under continued development
and if you require more information or if you wish to use this system

Using the DAM system, in conjunction with Shannon's midside handler we
were able to test 800 to 1000 plus animals a day on the laserscan. This
system allowed the grower to have instant sccess to the results. We would
like to thank Jim for his foresight and confidence in helping us delevop
this system.
